How and when

Animal Chiropractic involves the mobilization of the spinal joints and extremities to restore proper biomechanics and nervous system function in your pet.  The intent is to elicit a therapeutic response.

Whether your pet is young, athletic or geriatric, chiropractic care may help to reduce pain, enhance athletic performance and promote optimal function of the neuromusculoskeletal system. Much like chiropractic care for humans, animals can benefit from chiropractic adjustments to keep them healthy throughout their life.

Chiropractors do not replace traditional veterinary medicine but work in cooperation with veterinarians to treat neuromusculoskeletal conditions.

Chiropractic care is appropriate in the treatment of the following:

  • Neck, back, leg and tail pain

  • Muscle spasms

  • Nerve problems

  • Disc problems

  • Joint problems

  • Lameness/limping

  • Injuries from slip, falls and accidents

  • Jaw or TMJ problems, difficulty chewing

  • Event or sport injuries

  • Post-surgical care

  • Geriatric care & Wellness

  • Most importantly - Preventative!
